Expected impact of the project

a) Reinforced sense of belonging to Europe through deepening the reflection on the social and civic/democratic engagement aspects of the European citizenship with a view of creating a common feeling of responsibility, especially among the young students.

b) Institution of a durable and widely spread channel of promotion and debate on the citizenship through the creation of permanent platforms, groups and blogs of discussion on the project website and on the most important Internet social network sites.

c) High motivation of university students for being involved in a European project conducted by themselves.

d) Enriched awareness of the sense of responsible citizenship among young students, thanks to the seminars where encounters with old personalities and representatives of the volunteering and social world will foster real dialogue on concrete European day-to-day issues.

e) Introduction of permanent debates and reflections on European citizenship in universities’ through the network of EUCA, that will activate regular seminars inside its 195 university colleges members of the network and moments of social responsibility and solidarity, in order to promote the main principles stated in the final Charter.
