WUT - Warsaw University of Technology – Students’ Unit of Foreign Affairs
The Warsaw University of Technology is an academic institution of higher learning, shaping the future social elites ― educated people with a broad outlook on the world, conscious of their own views but also understanding and respecting the world views of others. The University not only gives shape to the minds of its student but also forges their characters, awakens in them the kind of creative attitudes engineers should display, furnishing them not only with knowledge but also with skills.
The Warsaw University of Technology works in partnership with other higher education institutions in Warsaw which are particularly close to it in nature. Together, these schools strive to provide a mutually complementary educational and research package. The Warsaw University of Technology also boasts a rich tradition in cooperation with other academic centers, in Poland and abroad. Such cooperation is becoming increasingly important in the face of accelerating civilizational changes worldwide.
WUT will participate to the project with the Commission of Students for Foreign Affairs. This Commission inspires college students to participate actively in establishing cooperation with foreign countries and, with this respect, it has signed new agreements with universities and student organizations from other countries. The Commission is helping students from abroad in both the formal issues of integration and adaptability. The Commission's actions are also directed to provide assistance to all University students who wish to attend in international initiatives.

This human development involves promoting culture and personal, spiritual, and social attitudes that foster the growth of an integrated personality and prepares citizens, who are willing to contribute to their society with generosity and professional competence. To achieve these goals, we offer a range of educational, cultural, and athletic programs.
We have been carrying out activities to foster generous service, professional competence, and a well-rounded personality on a regular basis since 2004. We have organized international service projects for university and high school students in Cesvaine, Latvia each summer. We offer weekly sporting activities in Riga for high school students. Furthermore, each week, we offer a range of academic and cultural activities in many fields and for different age groups. We also organize educational and recreational trips to destinations in Latvia and to international destinations. We also encourage monthly visits to disadvantaged people, such as residents of nursing homes and hospitals. Although individual activities may emphasize one particular goal of our association, we strive to make each activity a growth experience for the whole person. We make efforts at each activity to make available trained volunteers who can help participants assimilate new ideas and achieve personal goals through one-on-one mentoring.
