- Contribute to the improvement of the transport chain and strengthen multimodal transport integration in Sicily and Malta in support of TEN-T Corridor 5
- Provide a concrete contribution to enhancing knowledge of the transport system between and within the two islands through a transport network mapping, an integrated survey of supply and demand, and a dedicated strategy for the promotion of integrated and sustainable transport
- A mid-to-long term joint strategy to promote an integrated and sustainable transport system, supported by a mapping of the area aimed at analyzing the mobility flows of people and goods
- Development of a web-GIS platform aimed at achieving political and administrative harmonization in the integrated transport system between the two islands. The platform will collect geo-referenced data on the transport system to simplify communication between the public administrations of the two countries. It will facilitate planning, design, implementation and/or joint monitoring activities, improve safety and quality standards, and enhance dialogue with citizens and stakeholders
