• Identify, collect, and share sustainable cultural tourism practices from across Europe, making them accessible through a Digital Resource Library intended for stakeholders
  • Provide training to tourism professionals, cultural organizations, and local authorities, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to adopt sustainable tourism models
  • Promote collaboration among stakeholders, involving communities in co-creating sustainable tourism practices and influencing policy development
  • Support tourism strategies that preserve the authenticity of cultural heritage, support small businesses, and contribute to local economic growth
  • Through the Best Practices report and the creation of a Digital Resource Library, CulTMed aspires to become the means of knowledge transfer in the field of sustainability in cultural tourism
  • By developing four distinct curricula focused on: sustainable cultural events; sustainable tourism at archaeological sites; museums/galleries and sustainability; local communities and sustainable cultural tourism, CulTMed aims to bring forward new advances in the field
  • Through the implementation of Workshops, CulTMed aims to create interventions in local communities that are not considered popular cultural tourism destinations, while through a series of events involving stakeholders and policymakers, the project aims to further promote the project’s results, ensuring that the best practices collected, taught, and tested (through pilot projects) will foster further changes across all sectors of EU society
