- Strengthen the links between the vocational education and training system, the private sector, and policymakers in Palestine and Jordan, and raise awareness through mutual dissemination activities in the field of sustainable design and production
• Bring the labor market and vocational education and training (VET) closer by creating a plastics recycling and production laboratory at PPU and INU, in collaboration with local industrial institutions
• Improve the competences, skills, and employability potential of VET students by developing new and innovative VET training programs on sustainable design and production to be included in university curricula
• Promote cooperation between the Mediterranean shores to raise awareness of the opportunities offered by sustainable design and production, particularly in Palestine and Jordan
- Development of a strategy to encourage and support the dissemination and capacity-building in the fields of the subject matter courses, creating interventions and recommendations for local awareness and knowledge transfer to incentivize students and labor market representatives to take a role in green production and circular economy integration for Palestine and Jordan
• Staff training programs to develop a comprehensive circular economy course, focusing on promoting green practices and understanding green production for VET students
• Cooperation between VET and industry to integrate the program’s learning outcomes into the labor market and spread knowledge to newcomers on circular economy concepts and applications
• Sustain the resources and facilities coming out of this project by facilitating resources through the project and even after its conclusion, establishing partnerships with local manufacturers who will co-supervise the learning process, in addition to stimulating design and production ideas by sharing their needs in the area of sustainable production
• Dissemination workshops, website, and publicity materials will be used to publicize the project and disseminate its results
