ARCES, partner of the Black Sea SIERRA Project (funded by the European Union), is seeking one external expert/consultant with expertise in marine pollution in the Black Sea Basin to support the development of a technical publication (handbook).
The selected expert will be responsible for:
- Preparing a handbook on marine pollution assessment methodologies and pollution sources, including impacts from armed conflicts
- Integrating the results of project activities, such as pollution sampling, analytical measurements, and data processing
- Ensuring clarity, scientific accuracy, and methodological consistency throughout the document
- Collaborating closely with the ARCES project team
📌 Requirements:
- Proven knowledge in marine pollution or related environmental fields
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent scientific and technical writing skills
- Ability to synthesise data and contribute to structured technical documentation
